So the whole gay identity debate has been running very passionately here in the forums.

Granted - our community needs to have an identity of it's own even if we were to assimilate totally into mainstream society. I think that has been widely agreed to. But, how do we do it?

Is it about resurrecting the old community eg. the Oxford Street of the 80's or do we need to develop something new and more up to date?

What are the most defining things of a vibrant community?

blend blend blend - its all about blending my dears haha

of course we want newness to appeal to the younger Generation but we also want not so new, something for everyone and hey we all know the 80's are so back right now!!!!

and its good we are getting on top of it now... i mean we dont wana end up like Smiths TASTY TOOBS do we? starting a petition to bring back the good ol gay haha

well its all about coming together and not just in a club - FAIR DAY is the perfect example of this, i have so much fun at fair day and thats just entering the grounds...

MARDI GRAS is 30 next year so we need to make this one bigger then ever, telling everyone to come along or even enter the parade... just join in the fun!!!!

but how do we create non night club social activities that people will actually attend ??

You have to make them as sexy as club nights or parties!
