Alice Springs venues

I'm going to be visiting Alice Springs in August for a few days. Are there any Gay venues in the Alice, or at least Gay friendly pubs/clubs?

I was there last year and I don't know about "gay friendly" but the Bar at Annies Backpackers goes off on weekends - if you want something bigger then try Malankas (if it's still there - not sure) or Bo Jangles for a good ol' bogan dance... I didn't run into any trouble while I was in town, but I'm not sure if I'd call the venues "Gay Friendly" as such :)
