gay places in europe

Not sure about "gay places" Anne-Mette but you can pretty much find gay spaces in most European cities... I can recommend Prague, Paris and Amsterdam as having some great places to hang out and all have a "gay suburb" and all are great for different reasons!

Ooo! Try Sitges in Spain. Its about a 40 mins train ride from Barcelona. Its where the whole GLB community goes on their weekends to get away from the city. Its got a great beach, with a beautiful old church on a cliff, a small town with cobblestone streets, and about 20 gay bars in a 10 block radius!

Brighton on the South Coast of England is very gay friendly and a nice small city.
Manchester also has a good gay scene, great clubs and fantastic shopping.

I went to Sitges a couple of months ago and would highly recommend that too.

Berlin has an enormous gay scene and is well worth the visit

go to budapest! although not sure what their lesbian scene is like...

have heard that the kit kat bar in berlin is def. worth a look...

god i so need to return to europe. they are just SO ahead of the rest of the world in terms of diversity.

Definitely Sitges, it's just outside Barcelona and is just the most stunning beach, with a lot of gay-friendly bars and restaurants etc. It's a great day trip from Barcelona on the train and awesome.

I love France TD... they're not as rude as the generalisations out there.. Paris has a great gay scene near the Hotel De Ville train station.. a very vibrant community. Barcelona and Sitges are also great.. ah the memories..

Raidd in Paris is great too, where the guys shower at the bar.

Croatia has some fantastic beaches and is quite cheap but you'll have to learn a little bit of Croatian
