Ikochi

Does anyone here know of Ikochi?

They are an awesome Japanese rockabilly threepiece; they're on myspace if y'all want to check them out (I think it's just myspace.com/ikochi but you should be able to find them by searching without too many dramas). I saw them a while ago at one of the Upstart Alley nights, and then again recently at the Glasshouse in Melbourne - they bring the awesome! :D

I do not know why more Australian bands don't concentrate on Asia.

Instead they spend all their money in the US where no one cares abut a shitty little aussie band.

By the way, it annoys me that bands who invest in american producers and studios get support from local media. Australia is a young country and it needs practice to become great at producing records. As long as the producers and studios are neglected by top selling bands, the stagnant cycle will continue to spin.
