Do You Think That You Look Younger Because You Are A Homo?
Many Of My Friends Think That I Look Like A Fifteen Year Old Boy. I Think Its Because I Have The Gay Youth Gene, My Mother Would Say That Her Years Of Teaching Me To Moisturise Would Be At The Crux At My Youthfulness. However I Beg To Differ. I Think I Look Like This Because I Am A Flaming Homo. Do You Think You Look Younger Than Your Straight Friends?

God I hope not ... I'm 17 I'm almost 18 I don't want to look 15.
As for the amount of time I spend on myself ... hmm well I put all those skin products on (damn acne) moisturise when my skins dried, shampoo my hair at least every second night ... and condition once a month. I think thats regular though. Okay its excessive in comparison to my male bestfriend ... but I rarely see him shower ... so I think hes the irregular one.
As for comparing looks ... he probably still looks better ... okay I have better hair ... but he goes surfing which gives him a good body and takes care of his skin ... in comparison to me who hates the beach.

i think your on to something, maybe there is something genetic gay guys have in common that causes the body to physically age slower.
Or maybe its the other way round that the people who are slow developers later identify with being gay..
More questions.. Do children develop slower because of parental over protection, under exposure to adult issues or because of genetics?
some religions are very protective of children, are young religious adults also youthful?
Do religious families have a higher proportion of gay children than the less religious families?
maybe thats a can of worms that would rather be left unopened
Does vanity make us age less? or has our youth obsession started paying off?
If you answered yes to any of the above you are probably gay too..
so good for u good lookin:)

I think that is especially true, if you look at my family --especially with the number of priests who I know are all gay.

Everyone says I look younger than I am (someone even told me the other week that if they were a bouncer, they'd card me - bless em!) but I put it all down to looking after my skin since I was about 14...
Cleanse twice daily, tone when I can be bothered, moisturise daily, mask every couple of weeks, scrub once a week and that's just at home! Then there are the day spa treatments I treat myself to... God, I'm so gay it hurts!

and not to mention the variety of creams I have used... under eye cream, wrinkle decrease, revitalift... basically anything that sounds like a miracle and costs a lot, i'll put it on my face, I ain't ashamed.
As I always say... there's nothing wrong with getting old... as long as you don't look it! :)

Yeh, I always used my mum's creams, plus I don't go out in the sun without SPF 30

See I'm the exact opposite to you guys. I think my skin has a natural balance, and anytime I wash it (ie. cleanse / mositourise) that is the only time that blemishes seem to come up. If I just use normal water then I find it keeps the balance perfect on my skin. So hence I don't use anything on my face anymore and it's perfect! Well, not quite perfect but close enough. LOL
PS. I love getting carded, makes me feel young again.

I'm 31 and people guess my age to be between 25 - 30. I think I've only ever had one person say I looked older than I was (we're no longer friends) I think I look younger definitely because I'm a poof and look after myself. Mum is an Oil of Olay woman and I was always in her cabinet at a young age checking out all the creams.
I also think gays look younger because we're nearly always happy and smiling and less stressed than the breeders with a mortgage plus the 2.3. Adding a smile to a face definitely takes years off.

I think you're on the money with the no kids thing Robbie... I don't know of anything more stressful than having kids around - every time we babysit the nephews we need a trip to the day spa to get over it!

Interesting.
that could explain why lots of people were stunned to find i was 33 not 25 or so as they had thought. I mean i dont use facial stuff or moisterisers
However, Robbie is right on the money. The more positive or happier you are the more younger you look. Stress Does make you look older more tired etc

Tea also helps, I don't know how I will turn out my mum looks fantastic for her age but my dad is unhealthy and looks terrible and has accepted the fact he will not live to be 70, so I'm worried!!

The gay scene is very interesting though, I think there is an unhealthy obsession placed on being young and looking young. It's a bit much sometimes.
Where are all the gay 60 year-olds?

My dad's best friend is 61 and looks about 45, but he lives a very low stress life, however I have met other 60 year old gay workmates of my dad and they all definately look his age.

Agree Jack Jack Jackie, (sorry, couldn't help myself) my dad is a crustified 60 year old who has worked in the sun for 35 years and never wore sunscreen or had a skin care regime. Meanwhile, my mum is 56 and has the skin of a 40 year old. Mind you, she is as white as the china in her house!

My dad was born in Scotland (my granny was ginger) and needless to say he comes back from the skin cancer specialist looking like a pizza, I am constantly reminded. I have inherited his (previous) white skin, my mum is slightly tanned as she is of Austrian/German heritage but she never ventures out much but takes care of herself.
