I've done the Sleaze/Parklife double 2 years in a row now....so seedy !
I don't think i could handle 3 years in a row and to be honest the lineup for Parklife doesn't really appeal to me, bit too techy this year, so not too sure whether to get a ticket.. Might just stick to sleaze and have cruisy Sunday listening to quality house with friends !

Following its roaring success last year, Parklife will return to Kippax Lake in October to kick off the summer party season with a bang! PARKLIFE is Australias most forward-looking music festival, bringing you a lineup of artists who completely define the moment in music. PARKLIFE makes the most of beautiful outdoor venues in five cities where you step into a spectacle in which the surroundings are idyllic, the music is great and the world is your oyster. PARKLIFE is not just another festival: PARKLIFE is the sound of next summer!
2009 Brings the biggest and best Parklife lineup yet:
Doing their first live shows ever:

Sucks that Adelaide aren't getting Metronomy! They're one of the main reasons I want to go. Likewise to see Empire of the Sun, Little Boots, Metric, MSTRKRFT, Crystal Castles and Art vs. Science.
2009 is shaping out to be my year of music festivals lol. Still shitty I didn't get a ticket for Splendour though [v]
Friend bought my ticket a couple of days ago! Anyone else thinking of going??

I've never been to Sleaze... I dunno, the musicians/djs have never really appealed to me. Maybe this year will be different haha

I'm never leaving my house again.
I'm just gonna drill a hole in my front door and people can swing by and throw drugs through it, or perhaps even insert their penises from time to time.
The problem with music festivals is that they are filled with people.
All humans possess the fundamental flaw of drawing breath.
And besides- everytime I see people dancing, something inside me wants to poke them in the eye with the exhaust pipe of a large motor bike and then put their heads in a vice.
But I hope everyone attending has a great time.
