Cocktails,Where is the Best fix?

I have just got returned from Melbourne,and visited this great cocktail bar called Gingers in Brunswick,what a list i had never heard of most of the cocktails and they were truly unique takes on what I did recognise.
Where are all our great cocktail bars,hidden gems that aint tied into hotels?
Looking for a cocktail fix.

The last time I went there, I didn't even order - the bar girl had a chat with me and then matched a cocktail to my personality. What came out was a squid ink cocktail that I would never, ever look twice at, but it was just the best thing I've ever had. Love that place!
