A post by Michaelbourke in another thread inspired this one. Fill us in on what you do? ie. do you work? and if so, doing what exactly? Or are you studying? Or do you spend your days at the beach? Or do you live off a trust fund? (Damn you if you do!)

I work as a writer at a magazine, and write part time for a Sydney newspaper.
I have also done some freelance for publications like Russh and The Age.
In two week's time I'm going back to uni, but only for a few months to do a short course.

I am the Operator at an an oil trading house. I work in a team of 12 Operators world wide who control all the movement/storage and buy/release of product. The traders do all the talking but we basically write and manage the contracts (the traders are like used car sales men and will do anything for a buck its our job to keep them on the straight and narrow).

Wow, quite a talented bunch. Not a police officer, American Indian chief, construction worker, member of the military, a leatherman or a cowboy in sight!

Sorry could not resist :)

I'm the marketing director at Sound Alliance which is the parent company of SameSame. I work some of my time on SS but also on our other websites inthemix and FasterLouder as well as our creative agency called Thought By Them which I really enjoy.

I'm a freelance photographer, occasional contributor and daily reader of SameSame.

After 15 years in Corporate (think banking, Telecommunications and superannuation) I'm now looking to get into the Not For Profit sector. I'll still be a Personal Assistant but at least I'll get my soul back - I hope

I'm part of the posse at SS-HQ and look after the editorial and admin teams of SS as well as FasterLouder and inthemix. Producing great content and keeping the day-to-day operations of the sites running smoothly are our main goals - then when we have a spare minute we try to work out what else we can add, change, play with... never a dull moment.

I'm a debt collector. I love my job... I get to be mean and nasty and make people cry... and I get paid for it! Normally I'd do it at no charge.

I will ignore the fact that a 'masseuse' is female and 'masseur' is male and still ask you if I can make an appointment, anyway. Do you offer hand relief? :) [I type a lot and my fingers could do with a good rub...]
