do u reckon if u have a gripe about something or someone, particularly if it is gay related, u should just clam up and say nothing.....
or should individuals who own gay business' be exempt from comment for fear of 'rattling the cage'...
one individual i am refering to thinks that he should only employ tactics if he sees 'what he can get outta it" and not necessarily for the good of the community...

I'm not sure I fully understand what your getting at... But in a community as small as Brisbane, doing something that is to the detriment of your community is going to bite you in the ass eventually.

In general if someone is doing something that is unethical or to the detriment of society, than they are certainly not exempt from comment. Thats what living in a democracy is all about!

Hard to make comment on this because the details are sketchy - but if its in your nature to speak out about issues/complaints/gripes that you have, you should do it, regardless if it involves the gay community or not.

yeah each to their own here i think. I have a friend who is non confrontational and it suits them fine. I like them how they are and appreciate it.
