It's not easy being part of a minority, though almost everybody is. In fact, the great majority of people are, statistically speaking, not in the majority. You are no exception, dear reader, because you are a homosexual or a friend of a homosexual, and that's glorious. But are you discriminating against your own people or your own friend? Members of minorities do it all the time.
“That’s soooo gay!” Bet you’ve heard that one before. That’s gay! This is gay! This is gayness in the anus! If you utter any of these phrases, or similary ones, without meaning either “happy” or “homosexual,” then you deserve to be opressed. Gay somehow took on a new meaning quite a few years ago, and it sucks.
“Gay” did mean: Happy or Homosexual, and oft-times meant both.
“Gay” now means: Happy or Homosexual or Crap or Shit or Boring, or it’s used as a slur against someone’s masculinity.
“Gay” should mean: Happy or Homosexual, and oft-times mean both.
When you say “this is gay,” you’re putting your own people down. You’re putting yourself down and becoming part of “society.” My favourite definition of society is: “That group of people who are happy to be the same and fear change.”
I don’t want to live in society. I don't want to hear someone degrade the name of the most pure feeling I have. I want to love, and my love is not ugly, or wrong—it is perfect and un-flawed. It is not to be confused with an insult. I hear people say “fag”—that word should rarely be used. When your talking about yourself, it can be used in jest, but it should not be aimed at another individual. “Fag” is a word of hate, and I love being a fag. Even when someone is insulting you, you shouldn’t come back with "Shut, up you gay-ass fag!" It's not helpful to anyone. Love your sexuality, live your sexuality. It’s yours. Own it!
That’s homos covered (with cream, I hope . . . ): Now, on to the rest of the world. Chinks, Japs, Emos,Goths, Niggers, Wogs, Junkies, Molls, Houzos, Sheep-Shaggers, U.S.A-holes—it's all the same. These words are all code for: "Fuck you. I spit on your beliefs, your culture, and your lifestyle.” Don't use these words! Don’t be a hater.It makes you look like a barbarian; and ultimately, doesn’t do much to make the world a better place. If you must insult someone, actually insult them. Be creative. Or, better yet, just be friendly. It might sound weird, but research has shown that people will like you better when you don’t call them names.
