no, I would have loved to get in to see him but I missed it... Saw him on Rove last ngiht tho and he was quite good!

I watched him last night as well - He was a bit "jumpy aroundy" last night - I don't know what that was about?

But he was good.....

Same FT i was like no way - him really........are they taking the piss?......I even called my bf out of the shower to catch a glimpse of him.....

I went to the instore - he was brilliant
The pic below doesn't do him justice, he's gorgeous in person, has a 'light-up-the-room' smile. There was a pretty small crowd, the line when he was signing barely went out the door. He signed and chatted for ages to everyone - his boyfriend was also nearby and chatted to everyone as well.

His voice is AMAZING live (even in tiny corner of a music shop) almost like listening to a CD.

He performed:
1. Who Would Have Thought
2. I Like The Way (with a bit of 'American Life' - 'do I have to change my name / will it get me far?' at the beginning)
3. Insatiable
4. Thieves In The Temple (Prince cover)
5. On The Verge Of Something Wonderful

I'd highly recommned his albums "Tension & The Spark" - which is very much a "coming to terms with being gay" album... and his new one is very much a "I'm coming out, I'm getting happy" album.
They took me back to my own coming out, all those years ago..... you can't do that with many male pop artists.

I've never heard any of his solo stuff so I may just check it out. He seems pretty cool and well adjusted to life and was pretty open on Rove.

His partner definitely had a nice big smile so yeah I can see the attraction now.

I must admit I was surprised Darren let them show his husband on Rove considering he never let anyone see his wife Corby while they were married.
