The Parade Tips and Tricks

As a newcomer to the awesomeness that is sydney, I was wondering what is everyones ideas for the best places to watch the parade, what to bring, does the parade merge into the clubs for the afterparty or is their a break etc. So please post all your favorite tips and tricks for getting through the parade

best place would be bobby goldsmith stand, there is still tickets available for that, and as for afterwards most people head to the party but there is always a party feel in Oxford st if you can get in ,

enjoy and have fun and wave at the defence force as they march past

If you can get near Taylor Sq prefereably Flinders St side , I like that area as
usually something happening with lighting or other things. It has a great feel
to it and then you can just walk out to the Showgrounds.

If you dont like the big crowds then move further down Flinders St.

Stands are great if you can afford it and much more comfortable.

If you are going to stay on in Oxford St then make sure you view the Parade on the same side as the venue in case you decide not to wait till the end of the Parade as you wont be able to cross the street.
