Hi, I've just changed my profile to put a bit more info in there, and the system keeps changing my full-stop to a comma! In the 'interests' part of my profile I want to write 'cf.' (c f full stop) to indicate - 'as opposted to'.

Actually, I just had another look and it's changing ALL ponctuation marks ( ';', ':', '.') to commas. Is there a reason for that? (I want to put a sentence, not just a list..).

Also, when we see photos of us in your galleries (photos taken by your photographers at events) and click 'I'm in this photo', is there any way of linking that to our profiles so it's in our own galleries too?

Cheers.

Gus.

I suspect the interests are grouped like a list deliberately so they can easily be tokenized to search on. That's the way social networking sites have worked for years. It's good because you can just click on a word and you'll find all the people who dig the same thing. If you want to write sentences you should do it in your about/description/whatever it's called here :)

hey there guys - Alison87 is totally right!
there's some very teeeeny tiny instructional text explaining that it should be a comma separated string - this allows us to really easily match your interests, fave movies and other stuff with other SS users - you can see the match up here: http://www.samesame.com.au/people/likeme

Thanks Alison and Mr Azza..
I'll go and move the info to the 'profile' part of the page.

Cheers,

Gus
