So the Gold Coast Tourism people have said that they want to start attracting more gays and lesbians to their part of the world. (http://www.samesame.com.au/news/local/1229/The_Gold_Coast_Is_After_Your_Cash) Why? Cos we're cashed up and we like to holiday. What do you think about this? On the one hand they are working to build a culture of making gays and lesbians welcome in the area, on the other they see us as a cash cow. Are you offended? Or do you welcome the initiative?

It would definately benefit the gold coast to hold more gay events and deals through gay websites might be a good idea..

It's time to paint the town pink. Let's just not invite the crowd from MPs. Anyone with me?

Was up there in February, there is NO scene, perplexing considering how every other demographic is catered for

It's close enough to Brisbane, where Family is. IMHO Family is the best nightclub in Australia, it is that good. You need to check it out, take a detour from Goldie to go there.
