My friend was going to enter a float this year, but she bailed last minute...

I have myself + 9 other friends who still really want to be in the parade!

Anyone got any contacts/suggestions?

i was about to say you could pretend to be a uni student but i just got this message from them inviting people to be in the greens float, theyd appreciate any support

PARADE MEETING PLACE: 5.30pm - Outside the Masonic Centre [corner of Goulburn St & Castlereagh St]

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) HAND LUGGAGE: Only bring what you can carry. Our float is people-powered and therefore no one will be able to leave things on the float.
2) DRINKS: Water will be available. The starting area is alcohol-free this year. If you know anyone who is coming from overseas, please inform Tony H.
3) PARTICIPANTS: We're still looking for more marchers and dancers, so please encourage your friends to join in. Inform Tony H and we will add them to the list.
4) T-SHIRTS: 50 x Greens 09 Mardi Gras Queer Green Power (QGP) t-shirts available - first come, first served. $20 each. If you miss out on a QGP shirt, please wear another greens
5) LAST YEAR: Meeting place/time details not the same as last year.

il be in the uni float provided i can get out of work,
