Having been in the parade again after a several-year absence, it was fab to see that organised chaos still reigns, and that the most stunning things are achieved. We were right next to Joan Rivers in the start area, and go in on all the action - and our float star was interviewed as well!

Now. There is always such a lot of bitchiness about MG. This thread is a place to share the incredible things that happened to you in this years Parade, and the highlights for you!

Definately the Tasmanian Devil float, it went over big with all the college kids

Matthew Mitcham...oh he's so beautiful.

And I loved the Tassie devil float as well as the Colour Parade. My friends loved the Hardcore Heaven one...I thought it was amazing.

And represent yo. All those Filipino gays in traditional Filo dress hahah!

It was my first time in the parade and had a blast with the Gay Camping group, pity we were right at the end of it but the crowd still had enthusiasm!

Best Mardi Gra i have been to so far ...parade , party, people ect ..the whole thing was amazing for me this year !

The parade looked great, ashame Fox messed it up. MG09 awesome, Fox coverage EPIC FAIL.

I had a blast. Mindy and I were marching with Ankali along with Timbo in drag and it was amazing as per usual. I was so happy to take Mindy for her first MG parade and be marching. She was so overwhelmed at first as people took endless photos of us but by halfway she was going apesh*t. Really loved it.. We actually got to the end and caught a cab str8 home to avoid the idiots afterward and spend some time loving each other as we were fully loved up :)
