can not belive the bar ran dry so early this is a shame as apart from that it was a great place to watch but i would have to think twice about going next as paying 196.30 for a ticket with very little alcohol is not right

Oh, yes. Absolutely. The Bobby Goldsmith Foundation was incepted to promote the constant & uninterrupted consumption of alcohol. That's what supporting BGF is all about - plying yourself with liquor. Nothing to do with assisting people living with HIV at all. I'm so happy that you really have taken on board the true spirit of charity.

Supporting a charity, any charity, is not about seeking out or expecting 'perks' & rewards, that's the only point I was making.

Well my dear you point is not valid.
There were no "perks".
The drinks that dried up were part of the ticket price therefore people did not receive what was advertised.
So you would be happy to buy a ticket to an event and when you didnt receive part of what was on offer you would happily let them get away with it ?

too true...however when i discussed the dry bar with a friend her response was "you were not making a $196 donation to bgs you were buying a product" which did not live up to its offer. i had heaps of fun but after 15 years of offering this service it was a poor show!
