Whats to do?? Being seen on the scene!

So i have a friend coming over from the UK in a few weeks, and would like to venture out of the scene while shes here. I however, have not been scene wise for sometime, (apart from a drunken fall into girlbar) and have no idea where to guide her that wont be trashy with 18 year olds running a muck and showing us up on the dance floor, so my plea to you lovely ladies, is a list of venues where i can send said friend, and perhaps go along myself (shudder) , and maybe we should work out a samesame girls night sometime as well??
