It seems that after every Big Gay Day the immense GLBT crowd that comes out to play disappears.

Where do they go? Back into the woodwork? Back into their caves? Back into the suburbs? Back to the sunshine/gold coasts?

WHERE?!?!?!

Anyone got any answers?

la dee daa....

see what I mean? Maybe everybody's still coming down (if so, you should click here to read SS's latest feature article on said issue (http://www.samesame.com.au/support/3766/Planes-Penises-And-Pills.htm)...)

Still, 7 views and no replies - who's watching? ;)

Just like in Sydney and ToyBox - given that some of the men there are o/s visitors, the rest - they can't all be located there and then you never see them when you go out any ol' time in Sydney? However, my Sydney friends tell me this is the truth - all super duper professional types, all in r/ships, all live in some gorgeous piece of real estate in the eastern suburbs, all never go out except at MG time.... there are more of us out there than the breeders realize! Yay!!

haha... maybe someone should organise a party specifically for "super duper professional types, who are all in r/ships and live in some gorgeous piece of real estate in the eastern suburbs, who never go out except at MG time".

(that title reminds me of the "zoolander center for children who can't read good")

I tend to only go out for the bigger events these days. I used to be on the scene all the time but I suppose I have turned into one of those married men who lives in the burbs and has BBQ's on the weekends with friends. The whole clubbing scene doesn't excite me anymore. If Brisbane night clubs had some live music, would that bring the community out to play?

Interesting comment about live music. At the 08 MG, the live music area was the most energized and exciting (and interesting.) It's there I got to see Grafton Primary and having "vaguely" heard of them before, seeing their full set live totally turned me on to their music and now I am a big fan. (But, that's a given, seeing as their inspiration is music from about the time they were born...1980s electropop...sigh...which was new and exciting music when I was their age....sigh...age...age..age...)
