So, I'm moving only to DVDs and getting rid of my videotapes.

But what does one do with used gay porn videotapes? :eek:

Anyone know of somewhere to sell/trade for DVDs/donate? :confused:

I hate throwing things out.

Apparently if you put pornographic or anything nude on ebay, they remove it from your listing, I tried to sell this gay mag once and I got removed with this message :

"However, your auction-style listing(s) violates eBay's Adult Material policy and has been removed. In accordance with our User Agreement, items prohibited by law or by eBay policy are not allowed on eBay. All fees related to this listing have been credited to your account. But then sometimes you get away with it, you see some people selling Playboy on ebay and get away with it.. i think it's how you title it as well, they must have a crawler for any keyword in your title or descriptions...

Freecycle them! I'm sure the inner west group of Freecycle has tonnes of boys that would jump at that. I've already accidentally done it. Freecycled an old suitcase, some old lesbo porn DVDs were inside and I hadn't noticed. The girl that got the bag emailed to ask if she should return or could keep them - she'd already watched it and enjoyed it!

I totally agree with Christian Taylor's idea...perhaps we should have an exchange forum. I'm not sure how the licensing issues are going to be handled; same as in inthemix.com.au ? Or put in a disclosure asking everyone not to exchange copywrite material...what happens between subscribers stays between subscribers!
As for the VHS cassettes, there MUST be people eager to take them off ya!

VHS..... good memories of me being 12 when my Dad decided to spill his beer on our JVC VHSHQ super box. We moved to DVDs and it never was tghe same. I miss the aweful picture quality.

donate them to a MAG group (mature age men's group). i know the sydney group was selling some vhs porn tapes at a fair day a while back.

alot of their members are on fixed incomes and have been for a long time, so possibly are still using vhs as their main entertainment source - i know my parents are still a VHS couple as they feel comfortable with it, everything else is too complicated. plus they like to be able to record tv whilst they are out.
