What better way to be gay for a day! I don't think I'll ever do a Parklife again... let's hope the fluoro kids don't catch on.

Camo - I reckon you and I have quite similar tastes in music. I'm all about beautiful summer house as is fitting for a beautiful summer venue, so watch this space.

Am loving this idea more and more each day!
Chatting to friends about this last night and we're all dead keen. This is the festival I've been waiting for to get me out of my self imposed hibernation.
Parklife but without the god awful people it attracts.
Leather and not fluro!!!
Fun atmosphere, variety and entertainment and all outdoors in what is sure to be a beautiful day. Can't wait to see the line up.
Happy Gay Day I say!

Great to hear that Funking Trance, that's exactly what the team and I have been thinking for the past year and half working on this, and so excited to see it coming to life now.

summer gay day is going to rock. a brand new location, a brand new party, fenced off from the passers by... bring the shit on. i can't wait to find out who's playing! and the carnival atmosphere sounds hot. we are so lucky in australia to have the climate that we have - i think events like this are the next incarnation of gayness in this city.

So what charities is it going to support given its on World Aids Day? Will some of the ticket money be going to an Aids support charity like Bobby Goldsmith Foundation?

Hey Braxn,
We've said from the very beginning in our first press release and on the Summer Gay Day website that we're going to be doing something special for World AIDS Day on December 1.
We have literally just announced the party with one teaser ad, and we've still got three months to go. I don't believe in giving everything away at the very beginning of a campaign (where's the surprise in that!), but rest assured that we're going to be working with a number of AIDS charities in the months leading up to the event, as well as on the day, to make sure this important day is recognised and celebrated.
Let me know if you've got any more questions.
