Im a fat girl, and ive only just learnt to embrace it. Ive come out of years or depression and drugs and now im going to change my life and make it healthier.

But love and encouragement are. But honestly, people shouldnt be expected to change. Embrace girls of every size, not just thin ones. You dont know why every person is fat. Everyone has a different reason.

If you dont like fat people, dont comment. This threat was for embracing - not hating. Make another thread about mortality rates and medical dramas that are second to obesity.

I'm sorry about your friend, Ash, but I think her problem was her diet and lack of exercise, not the fat itself.

It is possible to maintain a large frame while still eating healthily and exercising. It's a simple matter of energy intake vs energy expended. I think the reason this thread was started was because there is a lot of fat hate out there, of which there is no need for.

You are absolutely right in saying that it can often lead to health problems, however, as I just mentioned, that can be avoided.

Not sure about you but some people take being exposed to this constant move towards the size zero as a bit of a blow to their self esteem, mainly if they have maybe a bit extra around the waist or whatever.

Bears as far as I see it tend to be that way because it is more of a matter of accepting and loving who you are and your body and men who are similar in that respect. We are men and we are really not that fussed about it.
