It is complete and utter bollocks!!!

Issues like trans people being murdered, news in relation to HIV and treatments, internet censorship, discrimination against GBLTi people from religion (Gay clergy issue, Pope being an arsehole...etc), war/conflict, breakthroughs in science and medicine...etc

THAT is news. NOT some pop singer's Australia tour (gig notice) or the following of a TV series is not News and Current Affairs. There are other sections to post that stuff in.

yes ok, entertainment 'news' should probably go in chat and gossip, but i think when you post the first comment on an article it starts a thread automatically in the news and current affairs section.

Is it that difficult for these people to click on forums and go to the Chat & Gossip section and then click on create new thread.

If you lot were not aware of this amazing function that this website has then ok you are forgiven I guess but for those that know how to post and are too stupid to put it in the right section then use some common fucking sense and put it in the right place please.

Hey rudeboy - just a suggestion, but if you perhaps took the time to read other people's responses to your posts, you might have discovered that this is a function of the site and the way it's currently structured.

No user has created this, either through laziness or ignorance (or even just to annoy you) - they have simply commented on an article created by the editorial team at SameSame. The way they site works, this is then displayed in the forums under News & Current Affairs.

If you don't like either the site structure or editorial policy, and seeing you're so concerned about things being posted in the correct place, maybe you should raise it as a suggestion in the appropriate forum (http://www.samesame.com.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=9) :)

I'm intrigued by negative views this story isn't news worthy. Great story and vid posts!!!! Ian did a great job. There is a time and place for everything and this story is a refreshing, colorful and classy piece that should get high exposure.

Images of death, disease and monstrous crimes fill our everyday life, it's about time we started seeing more stories such as Tim's!

Well done.
