Some people! Can anyone explain how a mother can even think of kicking her sons head in???? Some people clearly should never be allowed to have children...

You would be surprised at how many cases Dept of Community Serivces (NSW) and the Dept of Human Services (Vic) handles with mothers like that.

And for the ones that make it to being a parent themselves they are at a higher risk of being a violent partner and parent themselves...we can blame the blokes as much as we want but there is a cycle and we should begin to find ways on how to break it instead of just condemning it constantly.

In cases like this...the kid is out of home. He needs a place to stay. I don't know how their system works there but here there are a few placements he can get into...kinship care, foster or residential...by the sound of his situation he would be eligable for transitional housing. Some friends of mine went through that.

I just can't take anyone seriously that hurls the word poof as an insult. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall...
