Hi all. I am a femme girl very single and very lesbian, living in Hobart. THe community here is very very small and I dont mingle in it so much. I live alone but have lots of friends (most straight most married) who I love dearly but would love a conversation with like minded girls. So anyone who wants to txt me here is my number. 0400153284 :p Dont be crazy about it though.

Hobart is ok, but its a very small clicky community. I'm just not in the scene here thats all. NOt many gay bars or events.

Sounds like Darwin, when you first get here that is. I went exploring and asked a thousand questions, and luckily those that I asked just happened to be Queer! I also asked the Deckchair Cinema, and a lot of the members of said Cinema "when are we going to have Queerscreen?" "Is Queerscreen coming to Darwin?" over and over in a "where's my spy camera" fashion, ala Simpsons style, until they gave in.
Anyway, I'm guessing you've already had a look at Taspride.com?

mmm. I have similar issues, I live in the Blue Mountains and yes, there is a huge gay scene here but it's hard to find people on the same wavelength. It also seems to be the place to come once you have got a family, or have settled in to being a couple, so i feel a bit on the outside.

There is a huge gay scene in the Blue Mountains? Yes I am very spiritual, do aura healings, tarot readings, smudge sticks etc. Just had an article published in the lates Spellcraft magazine about Witches in Tasmania. Tickled pink about that. I would assume the same as here, that if there is an Ex around it would be hard to get away from them. I only came out 5 years ago and only had one partner. ITs been over a year now and ready to move on. silly girl missed out on an intelligent, loyal and faithful partner. I would like to meet me. LOL.

yep, I get that, you can't escape here either! My ex was from Penriff (Penrith, aka bogan hole) and managed to embarrass me every single time she visited me up here. It may have been 8 years ago but there's still a few around who remember....
There's a lot of witchness happening around here too - a lot of Medieval fanatics too - though I find medieval clothes highly uncomfortable (that's a story for another time!)
I used to be in that scene but keep it to myself these days - they just didn't seem to know what they were doing and it got a bit weird...
