Saw that there's a poll option in the Forums and trying to figure out what the general feeling is like out there in the real world on the MG weekend coming up in March. So which one are you going to go to??

These results are going to be very interesting.

while i think it's great that toybox are offering something new, i do think it's a bit rude to be hosting a huge event like this as direct competition for mardi gras. there are 52 weekends in the year and they had to choose this one! we all know that mg find it hard to compete with these huge events, b'cos they have a parade to pay for! and if they didn't put that parade on there wouldn't be a huge number of people in sydney at this point in time, would there? still, events like this toybox one could be the very thing that sends them out of business.

i'm going to mardi gras party because i want to support the real event and our community - i like the diversity at mardi gras parties. it gets everyone else together and it's a real part of our culture. i may go to both - maybe - but first and foremost i want to see that mardi gras continues.

hope that the people who do go to toybox end up going to both - although $130 for MG and $150 for toybox - that's almost $300 in tickets alone!

while toybox has an awesome reputation production wise, i think that after the lasers have been turned off, the floor has been swept and the speakers and lighting rig have been packed away, people need to ask themselves - what are these events giving our community, and what are they taking away?

Yup... very interesting indeed.

Depending on how I feel and what happens at MG party and the amount of sleep I get during the week im super keen to check out as much as possible - however so much on and so little time...

More importantly after just turning 30 my body keeps reminding me that sleep is more important than ever and I just cant do everything!

Awesome work with the MG line up this year - Freemasons, Boy George, Presets, Bang Gang, wow, wow, wow.

I think I can confidently say it's the best MG party line up I've ever seen, so huge congrats to Brad, Anna, Marcus and the entire NMG crew.
