i thought it was an ok performance, but not great, but I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of Ms Carlsson in future.

I found tracks from her re-released "new" album last year, and played them on loop - I had no idea that this was the same woman who did "Show Me Love". Then I saw the crazy cartoon-explosion/experimental-art videos ("Konichiwa Bitches"/"Be Mine!"), and I was in love. It's the kind of smart, spunky pop that's a welcome remedy to the usual Top 40 clones. At the Sydney show, she stormed the stage with a T-shirt that read "Ice Cream's Gonna Save the Day" - and we believed her.
