Community Meeting- all welcome.
The gathering is on Tuesday 5th April from 4pm-7pm in the Sydney Town Hall Vestibule, 483 George Street Sydney.
Following on from the success of the Sharing Our Stories forum in December 2010, which opened the dialogue for discussions around issues specific to GLBTIQ people from a multicultural background, the Pride in Colour Working Group has decided to host this event to continue the dialogue and find out what really matters to members of our very diverse communities.
If you are from a multicultural background and or are GLTBIQ or gender questioning, or if you are simply interested in these issues, come along and say something , or just listen. We would like to welcome you to particpate in new working group projects and or events to ensure that we have representation from as broad a range of communities as possible.
The gathering will be hosted by the City of Sydney as part of the 2011 Living in Harmony Festival. The Pride in Colour Working Group is made up of representatives from ACON, Ethnic Communities' Council of NSW; Family Planning NSW; NSW Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby; Twenty10 and UNSW and Macquarie University ALLY Networks.
