Well i've just stumbled upon this section of the forum and i even though it doesn't seem very active i thought i'd start a thread anyway and see if there are any Darwin people who'd been keen on a meet up sometime?

Apart from Throb there aren't any LTGB venues in Darwin which is amazing. However, anything is possible given the right motivation.

Yeah i was just wanting to meet people and connect, doesn't necessarily have to be at aLGTB venue, although i've only been to throb once i had a pretty good night out there :-)

I've never been to Throb. I'm not into nightclubs/dancing etc. I prefer the peace and solitude of Casuarina Nudist Beach in the Dry. It's not everyone cup of tea (no pun intended) but enjoyable nevertheless.

Well there was a little impromptu meet up on the weekend but it certainly was not at the nudist beach! Wine and beer at Mindil beach markets on Sunday. Maybe we should make it a regular event for anyone who wants to drop by and say hello. That way if we are too scary you can run off and hide in the market...

Hopefully this'll start up the old thread again. Anyone else new to Darwin or otherwise looking to meet people?
