A well spoken lovely old bloke. Good on, John and Arthur, being together since 1967. Quite and achievement, something others should find inspirational. And they didn't even need a piece of paper called a "Marriage License" to do it. Says a lot really.

I totally agree with these beautiful guys. My partner and I have been together for 33years and weren't really concerned about gay marriage until about 14months ago, as we were already registered with Centrelink. Prior to that if we wished to have each other as our beneficiary on our superannuation, (and ensure they received it), then we also had to put on the benificiary form, "as per our wills"! Otherwise the superannuation could override our request and give it to 'family' members only. It certainly is time that we were all equal, wether we want to get married or not. SameSame thanks for sharing this sweet video, and hope a lot more people see it. Cheers.

This is so moving, it just feels so wrong that they cannot get married. I have written about why I think it is so important that we are allowed to get 'married' and http://macarthursmutterings.wordpress.com/2011/04/06/if-we-call-it-something-different-then-it-means-something-different/
and not have to settle for something less than that.
