I've written poetry before...

But I always disguised it under, 'Hey, would you read this? I would love to get your feedback!'
Sometimes words are not sufficient to delineate an experience, whether it is physical or metaphysical. Love is such an experience, but just because it cannot be so absolutely defined, does not negate its presence. Instead, the very nature of encountering such a depth of feeling is tribute to love as a phenomenon that is so intricate that given all the complexities of the English language it is still inadequate.

Agree. I have never been to Bimbos before. Thought I would just pop in. .
This is when you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and take a step forward. Think Kryptonite.. I believe in you..

That's awesome you're so blessed. I love a noisy household of kids. When I live with my girlfriend occasionally I get to enjoy that as she has two beautiful children and it's fun wrestling with them!

Well it's a unique scenario.
I am not a parent.
I only came into the picture a year ago.

This weekend is our couple time which is so special x

My partner and a guy are.
And all 3 of us live separately....

My girl and the co parent are in one state. Me another.

I only came into the picture a year ago.

So I meet my partner every 2 to 3 weeks (she fly down or I fly up) and occassionally I get to see the kids when it's her week with the kids.

ohhh yeah that is unique but whatever works for you both... Theres so many different relationships and families out there now its not so strange to not be the norm if you know what i mean. i can def understand your excitement for this weekend then!

It must be hard being away from each other 2-3 weeks at time but i bet its sooooo awesome when you do see each other.

It's awesome for me indeed can't sleep now from thinking about it...hence why I'm here.

It's not always easy on the physical side as I like a lot of affection and cuddles..

But at the same time if we were together now I might drive her nuts as I need lots of attention
....and my career ups and downs which makes me schizo... is too embarrassing to show everyone

However I don't like missing out on simple day to day things like dropping kids off at school or cooking dinner together or lounging in front of the tele.

Some days its great when we have a wonderful conversation via phone in the morning ...and I am on a high for the rest of the day .....than I get more inspired at work. I neeeeed to get pumped up do do well at my job.

Some days of course I miss her and end up staring at nothing all day checking the mobile phone every 30 mins for that next text. Pathetic really but I'm weening off that habit. Same Same has kept me occupied during those times I'm tempted to text lol. Its great!

My attitude is things can only get better and I love her. There's not required timeframe for us to live in the same state or house. Gives us something to look forward to... an unknown future but still a future that is together.

Gives me time to build and plan things. There's now more members to think about not just easy ol me.

I need to learn a few things too to ensure I am easy to live with

When I was with one of my ex's I went to her's for the night. But as she had a local council meeting in the evening that left me with a bit of time to make a nice surprise for when she got home. Earlier that day I had gone to a florist and bought all the red roses they had left. Probably about 20 or so. I had the florist to head them as I didn't want the stems. I laid out a trail of rose petals from the door to the bedroom. ;-) It had the desired effect that I was after.

It was freaking heartbreaking! Giles gets home, sees the roses, thinks he's gonna have a great night with Jenny ... and finds her dead
I've seen most of Buffy cos my aunt has all of them But I haven't the heart to watch the 6th season when Tara dies

But yeah, apart from that, that was so cuuuuuuute!

I had a crush on a girl last year. So, for Valentines day I drew a picture of Roses, took a photo of it and sent it to her on Valentines day because I couldn't afford to buy her Roses. lol

Originally had Gf family coming to town the week before so I preferred to budget for two short holidays.. A week with my girl and a short 3 to 4 days with mom in auckland. Gf has to wrk so it's cancelled.

So pink sofa hey? Two of my closest friends met their soulmates there. So how was your first date? Who asked who out? Love hearing stories of how girls find each other

Yep we owe it all to pink sofa..lol. We talked& emailed for months before we met..she lived in whangarei...me in auckland.. the first meeting was not planned..work took her to auckland unexpectedly...she called me after work and we decided why not? first date we went to mission bay and watched the sunset. Eas pretty onvious from day 1 of meeting that this was going ti be big for us...Within 2 weeks she had relocated to Auckland. Went to Sky City Orbit for New Years/Her 40th Birthday.. I guess we both just felt it noone actually asked anyone out. I gave her a rose quartz heart and told her she now had mine for the rest of our days together.. head spinning..room spinning.. literally and we both were in tears. Was magical..Inseparable since.

Your turn... What about u who asked who? How did u meet? First date?

Ok..

we met online too..not pink sofa..and my pics caught her eye...so she messaged me

"interested, not sure how to proceed".

Looking back isn't that a funny pick up line? I LOVE IT. So her. So to the point. We chatted on the phone soon after that and like her message she was very confident, direct, chatted as if she'd know me for a while. No girlie shy giggles or anything like YOU LOL. So I thought ok this one is one serious lady but loved her voice and loved talking about I can't remember what. She could talk. Her best quality. (I know you're waiting for juicy romantic bits but we were slow starters )

After one conversation we planned a dinner date at a little dimly light, romantic restaurant I picked in sth yarra, great wine, nice wooden clad walls, small little table by the window. Perfect Ambiance.

She turns up at my front door, I had just arrived home from work maybe 2 minutes before to greet this confident little blond sexy lady. I could not really see her face properly as her first expression seemed like she was not to impressed to see me...and I was distracted not knowing what to expect and worried about what to wear etc. so I offered her the sofa and said I better rush upstairs to change.

Simply could not think of what I could wear that this girl would like. She was in a tight grey just above the knee dress, she had such an amazing body from what I could see at first glance between offering her the sofa and wanting to run and hide.....

Her long blond hair, high heels...WHAT DO I DO??? HOW COULD I impress??? I just wanted to be myself and not have to impress. God! decisions decisions. I wouldn't be able to walk far in HEELS. Overall I was confident and didn't feel I had to try hard but I also did not want to not put any effort.

In the end I just said, mind if I stay in my work suit? (A few weeks later I found out she liked women in suits...LUCKY).

Over dinner I just could not get her to smile. I thought oh boy she's bored ... but I was confident, sitting back...taking in what she was saying... she talked and talked and I was just enjoying every minute of it....observing her mannerisms etc. I recall thinking how petite she was and what little arms she had.

Great posture, well spoken, so intelligent ....down to earth and had a strong voice. She certainly had a presence. Was so lost in conversation I didn't really focus on whether I was physically attracted stuff. I was just drawn into her mouth and eyes...the conversation and hand gestures. I have a bit of a "gesture" fetish. hard to explain. I loved hers.

Very suddenly after dinner she suggested going somewhere for drinks.

So I confirmed she could walk in those heels of hers first before suggesting we stroll to The Market on Commercial Rd for drinks...

Unfortunately it was mardi gras weekend so it was dead ...no atmosphere!!! We were sitting at the bar alone and I thought...DAMN she's really going to be bored. She had only one or 2 drinks and talked more and she was IMPOSSIBLE TO READ!!!

At times as she talked she leaned forward and before I could peep at her cleavage ...she'd retreat. By this time I noticed her @#$%@$#% awesome body.

Than her legs would lean in to me and I think her foot rested on my stool between my legs as she spoke.... with lots more hand gestures and nice teeth and was so expressive and talkative (which I LIKE )...and I thought, maaayyybeee she is finding my company okay...mayybe she's interested...than she'd lean back away from me again. DAMN!!!

That girl had a poker face....and I have also never expected to sleep with anyone on a first date let alone her. She looked nice but I didn't see her as a sex object. I need more than that anyway to be with someone.

Than suddenly, as she does...she suggests leaving...and we walked back to my house...

By this time ...I knew she was just having a conversation and a night out and I'd be history. I was okay about it...I don't form attachments easily...but I just thought she's so not interested.

I was not going to try and be funny or intellectual just to impress. Also because I am not funny and not an intellect and would fail if I tried.

She said prior to coming she had friends in Melbourne she could stay with ....but I offered my spare room to her for in case she was drinking (didn't want her to drink and drive)...

So because she did not drink much with me...I thought....FOR SURE ...she's definitely not keen on getting to know me. She's didn't drink much so that she could drive home (i thought)

I wanted her to stay...it was not a physical attraction thing at all... I just really liked her company and watching her and hearing her talk and I had the urge to hold her...which I don't ever get on first dates! It was a very unusual situation.

So the signs didn't get clear till GOD KNOWS how many hours after we met...yes...she waited till we got back to my place!!!!

She got comfortable on the couch and boy did she have a sexy pose, sitting side ways ....feet up on one side of the L shaped couch while I sat on the other side of the L ...upright and stiff.

I insisted AGAIN that she stay and offered the spare room again to which she did not really say much to.

so....I poured her a glass of white to which Yay she agreed so I knew I had her company for a while longer at least...

Than I noticed... even the way she sipped her wine was different. YOu know that more provocative way to hold a class and sip ...before tilting the head a certain way. Most erotic. That's when I thought... okay is it a sign is she interested or is it another sexy move she will retract....

Was determined not to ruin my chances of meeting her again..Plus I could not handle the thought of being rejected...SO.....I did the suave thing...NOT...and asked "tonight at the bar...had I kissed you would you have let me?"

My very first of many uncool things I have done with her since...

You should have seen the confusion on her face before she went...after much hesitation...than said "yes".

AND numbskull ol me STILL kept CHATTING as my nerves got the better of me.
How my super confident business woman by day persona got completely wiped out that second SHE SAID YES...I don't know.

So I small chat a little bit more.... while my head was thinking...how do I make a move...or do I wait for her. (I am so used to all my past women making the first move)...and I finally said...again I had to do the unromantic thing of ASKING

..I said :"I have to kiss you now" THAN I leapt over to her side of the couch...was on my knees while I leaned into her and kissed her and she threw her arms around me and we actually had a rather passionate kiss. ... and she uttered :"I thought you'd never ask".

I reeeeallly loved that first kiss.

This is only the start. ....Slooooow start.

After this was date number 2...daylesford
