My girlfriend and I are going to be in Brisbane for a week at the end of August, and she's dead set on seeing a drag king show. Google has been pretty unhelpful, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any potential drag events around then? Or anything in a similar theme (we're from Alice, not much in the way of kings here).

Maybe try Scarlet. They recently held a drag theme night with quite a few drag king acts. I'm not sure if they have drag king shows every time they hold a night (they are the last weekend of the month). I'm sure you could email the owners and find out.
