I think Lynne Postlethwaite is a great character in Aussie humour but also a great character of humanity alongside those created by Charles Dickens and Patrick White.

I reckon all of us know some Lynne Postlethwaites. She is pure selfishness. She is a character stripped of all that niceness we use to cover our raw selfishness.

Szubanski did a similar character as Kim's bed-ridden mother-in-law Lorraine trapped in her Surfers Paradise suite in Kath & Kim. She was a wealthy manipulative bitch who enjoyed being a wealthy manipulative bitch.

I have a few bottles if ya want some! Plus two bottles of wine, both red, a 2007 shiraz, and a 2009 cab sav merlot. Also I have a bottle of malibu....I haven't touched it, it's on it's own in the fridge. Keep in mind I bought the 07 in 09 and the 09 I bought last month, I just haven't touched them! :]

I remember once and I think I was at the Taxi club and I met this guy and me and another girl went back to his place in Glebe, and in the dining room he had this wine rack, would have been about 5 metres long and about 2 metres high, all chock ablock with expensive wines, and he had this big long dining rooom table, about 6 metres long, almost like a boardroom table, and he fucked the girl I was with up the ass on the table. Can't remember if we drank any of the wine though.

I love aussie humor, when watching american so called "comedy" Shows, I feel as though these shows are aimed more for kids, then for adult humor. to list a few of my favourite aussie shows are listed

I love all of these shows, it is my humor, the only other country that comes close to this type of humor is of course british humor. but why we dont have these comedies any more? is a real mystery

Oh and I love hey hey its saturday and the OLD footy show, where they did all the funny stuff before they got boring.

There's a house going up across the road, owner builder and hes obviously got his tradie mates to help, they work all weekend as well. When they sit down at the end of the day and crack the beers it just reminds me of they're a weird mob, classic Aussie humor of the 50/60s all about mateship and giving a bloke a go
