Smiling!. Best weekend in a long time. Did alot of trail runs...magnificent, the smells, the feeling. Drinking wine by a bon fire and listening to interesting stories. Early morning trail run...finishing with big cooked breakfast. Home.. Long Shower. Feeling damn good.

I've been travelling the West Australian coast for 8 weeks working for the Australian Conservation Foundation!
The past 4 weeks i've been living the good life in Broome trying to protect James Price Point.. i'm supposed to start work again on Monday - i'm in Port Headland and i'm hating life atm. My housemate is living in a FIFO camp out here and after a lovely sleep over i already never want to see high vis again. I miss my friends that i made up there, waking up on the beach, having no technology and being down right filthy.. I'm probably going to quit my job and go back within the week
Haven't we learned over the past two days that if we all pull together we can become greater than the sum of our parts. That if we are of one mind and one intent, there are no boundaries to what we can achieve

Feeling sorry for myself.
It's not often I let things like my diabetes get me down, but today, it really has. I hate being so limited by something I have no control over. And worse, those limits are justified, so I can't fight it.
If only life was fair.

You are allowed to feel sorry for yourself Megawatts. Everyone is. Your diabetes is particularly restricting but there are alot of people here who think a lot of you. I always look forward to seeing what you had posted. You can tell you are genuinely a lovely kind honest person. Big warm motherly hug.

I'm SUPPOSED to be analysing an episode of Skins for English (related text, wooo!), but then I got sidetracked with other Skins episodes (NAOMILY ) ... and all of a sudden I hear Kylie Minogue and I'm all like "WHOA WTF!?!?!" And then I get even more sidetracked and pick up where I left off in Sugar Rush ... and I hear MORE Kylie Minogue. O_O
I may need to get a CD ... *shifty eyes* Maybe that should go in the confession thread?
