$3,000.00 is a substantial fine for an individual player to pay (not a club).

considering the player he called a "fucking homo" isn't actually gay, i'm acutally quite surprised the AFL took such an action. Good on them for trying to instill some standards into their players. Eventually the supporters will get the message.

in all likelihood the offending player is just used the default slur against the opposition because he wasn't smart enough to think of something else.
