Been lurking for a few weeks and decided to sign up.

I'm 36, only recently out (still not out to everyone yet but hoping to be so by the end of the year). I'm a writer, mostly horror/sci-fi/fantasy, along with some fanfiction. Doing the whole long-distance thing at the moment with the most wonderful woman I've ever met who lives in (wait for it...wait for it...) you guessed it...Australia

Ironically enough, one of the first threads I read here was Baby's fiasco regarding her long distance relationship...oy!

undawundawoman, the gong is Wollongong, about an hour or so south of Sydney. I just get lazy some days and say 'gong' :P

Anyway, I suppose I should introduce myself again. I'm Kimm, an outrageously gay girl hailing from Malaysia who first logged onto samesame a few years ago because I was about to come over to Melbourne for my studies. I'm dorky, a huge fangirl who likes books by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, conversation with me is generally indecent once I've had a few, etc, etc.

I've since settled into my penniless, design student's life quite comfortably in Prahran. The scene's here been pretty sweet; I've attended a few Sundaylicious events and I checked Lick out yesterday and had quite a fun time! People should have traffic light parties for the girls more often, just saying.

My name is Linda, 37, and I live in Brisbane. I am bi and have never had an actual relationship with a women. I am going through a point in my life now where I think I am unhappy as I'm having relationships with only men and they make me feel insecure in who I am as a person. So I feel that I should just let my life be as it should be and get in and meet other women and see what happens.
I don't know if any of this makes sense at all.
