Back off ACL. What does Civil Marriage have to do with you?

Sunrise (as well as other "current affairs" shows *cough*) have taken non neutral stances on plenty of issues.

Bullying
organ donation
childrens charities
suicide prevention
depression
the olympics
parking meters
dodgy tradesmen
Lara bingles nude photo scandals
etc
etc
etc

why should they remain neutral on this issue?

The ACL is promoting an attack on Channel 7%u2032s Sunrise and their advertisers for supporting same-sex marriage. Lets use their convenient links to voice our PRAISE of their support.

7 and their advertisers aren't interested in all the 'evidence' the ACL people are referencing in their messages - just a clear show of hands from people saying "We support you" will show these business that supporting equal rights is a good thing.

They are not Christians.

I just couldn't take any group seriously that belives in fairytales and follows the brutish teachings of the likes of leviticus....considering Jesus didn't say one word about homosexuality.

Or would you proclaim to the heavens and all who would listen about what a valuable ally you had in your fight against common human decency?

Like all Australians, you have the right to express your views. What you do not have is the right to not have those views disagreed with in any way. Because discrimination is okay if it's less than 10% of the population. That's why, in Australia we should also be discriminating against anyone blind or deaf, anyone from Europe, North America, South America, Africa, anyone buddhist, muslim, sikh, hindu, anyone with a disability, anyone with down syndrome, cystic fibrosis, rare cancers, rare diseases etc.

Im not usually a fan of sunrise nor do I watch it (I prefer ABC news breakfast) but I do applaud it for backing marriage equality.
