I'm passionate about moving to Melbourne once my courses is finished.

I'm passionate about sewing and making crafty things, reading, collecting stuff especially books and objects.

I'm passionate about family histories, especially my own.
See, that's where you're a dummy. I think about what you grew up with, and then I look at what you are — it makes me proud. It makes me love you more.

see, this is one of my life's dilemmas. i don't have a passion. some have music, friends, art, their job, language, something, anything.

i don't excel at anything in particular, so i've been drifting around waiting for a passion to land in my lap. but i guess i'm kind of passionate about the ability of film and music to manipulate or affect us emotionally. but i'm not a film buff nor a musichead.

Music. Literature. Law - in particular here my mom and Atticus Finch are my inspirations.

Oh and kids movies/tv shows. I really, really miss my childhood....

I have no passions. I am an empty vessel.

Atticus was such a nice man. I think that book and Catcher in the Rye, gave me my values.

Animals, feminism...I have other hobbies but I usually do those out of boredom/enjoyment rather than passion.

For some, I believe, passion can come with time, life experience, travel and so forth.

Me? I love music that moves me, humour, gourmet food, wine, science, literature, science fiction (the plausable variety), travel, decent Anime, cartoons, fascinating facts, apocalyptic and post apocalyptic fiction, monsters like zombies, aliens and real vampires (not the twilight bullshit - Poppy Z. Brite and Anne Rice is it, I'm afraid), adventure sports, running and weight training. There's more, but I'm now rambling!

I have many interests, yet what I'm truly passionate about is the pursuit of knowledge, scientific breakthroughs that help humanity, justice and equality.

What is everyone else passionate about?

i'm passionate about words and sleep. i love words so much that i often find myself choking on them in utter glee. and sleep is my favourite activity at the moment. i dream about it all day and look forward to the moment i can make a little nest of bedclothes and plunge into oblivion.

Im a foody tragic, just wish I had more time to cook , I love sharing good food and wine with close friends.

Im passionate about the plight of remote Indigenous communities here in the NT. Ive watched it go backwards over the past 30yrs, its so frustrating. I live and work in this field and see things that you couldnt imagine were still going on in this country in the 21st century.

Its easy to burn out in this game but I remain a glass half full kinda guy and believe we can eventually turn things around, sadly it wont be in my time to any great extent.

do we? what about the bit when it all falls apart and we end up with a chronic pain that cannot be alleviated?

it is the flaw in the design.

Chronic pain, cilipadi?
More likely acute isn't it - you get over it after a while, if it falls apart. It doesn't always have to, you know.

well, i may just stick with chronic all the same. being a little histrionic is a necessary indulgence at times. perhaps it's even a passion.

I often think that sadness and pain are a ... hmmm ... lacking words - not nice, but a way of reminding you that you're alive, and that you're connected, and that you feel. Be histrionic as long as you need to be. You may not be able to alleviate it, but I think one day it will lift and rise up al on its own, and leave you to enjoy life more.

I'm passionate about food, and being outside. And increasingly about law. oddly.

crabapple you do not seem very crabby. you seem like a jolly good fellow, except that rather than being a fellow i assume you are a lady.

I am indeed of the double X. And no, I'm not generally crabby. I was thinking about sunny days and apple orchards and crabapples popped into my brain!

there are surprisingly few people on here who name themselves after food, which i think is a great pity.

I fleeting thought of using Basil as my handle - basil adds flavour to those pasta and spaghetti dishes that have a tomato sauce mixed in.

Blue Vein might have been more appropriate, perhaps.

I'm passionate about birth and women's rights. Passionate about good food. Passionate about unschooling. Passionate about words (because I am a cunning linguist).

oh, and Dash: shall we get together and colloid?
