These holidays....

I am going to drive up the coast to the Coffs Harbour region. I have sleeping bag packed in the car already! I cannot tell you all how excited I am to finally run away from home!

Well my girlfriend and I are planning a week together, just us....not sure where we are going as yet...maybe camping, somewhere near a beach

I'm currently sitting on the tar mac Sydney bound and then I'm driving to Mollymook, NSW for a whole week with my family. It's the first Christmas we've been together in 6 odd years. Super excited!

my oldest brother, his wife and their kids are going separately, so they'll be there, but not travelling with us, and my older sister and 2 of my older brothers are going early - straight after new years. So not ALL of us together.

Hi Ladies

Brisbane is quivering with anticipation. I fly up tomorrow night. It's been nearly 7 weeks since I saw my boyfriend..... far far too long. Spending most of the week with him, a few days at my mum's, and I have been invited to the Focker's xmas day feast. I think that means it's serious I couldn't be happier.

Im going to Rabaul on the Island of New Britain (PNG ) for two weeks in January a brothers birthday. 20 people coming from Australia I dont know how the livers gonna hold up, maybe Ill leave him at home this trip

I'm currently in my hometown on the Mid North Coast of NSW, spending a week here with my family for Christmas. About 400km north of Sydney. I am chilling the fuck out :P

I will make my way out of bed, out of my room, downstairs to the kitchen and stuff my face.

i'm spending it with the GF's family... like last year (none of my family live in NSW )
xmas is always fun when you're the only Caucasian in a Thai household =S i never know whats going on... i cant understand anything >.<

I will be working every day over the Christmas holidays. Awesome. So I have to deal with all the idiots that ate too fast and think they are having a heart attack, use their new power tools without reading the manual and drunk drivers...can't wait

I hear you! My girlfriend is Italian and when they get together i dont understand a thing and when they all laugh I am left out. ......Trying to learn Italian atm.....

I'm hosting christmas this year for the first time and i'm really looking forward to it! My gf family are coming to stay and i'm cooking, currently trying to decide on desserts!

In all these 19 years I probably should've learned Italian.

My life is a holiday. Next destination will be *drum roll* PERTH!

my plans don't seem anywhere near as exciting as everyone else…not going anywhere. i'll be with family…but I'll be alone in my heart so I plan on drinking until I don't feel lonely. LMAO

I'll probably wander down the street to get some fresh air at some point, does that count?

you'll be proud to know i'm getting a new italian dictionary for christmas for year 12 as my last one has not only lost its front cover but also the entire numbers page and the first 5 pages.

same here pretty much. our family never does anything at christmas aside from eating too much, drinking too much and talking to strange men my mum invites over. aside from that it should be wonderfully boring.

Errrr it's been put on hold, I have been so busy and not motivated at all! I can pick up a few words lol

Do you know how to say "eat" in Italian? That's pretty much all you need to understand.

manger is the verb in french and i know the italian one is like the same but with more letters.

mangiare is the full verb to eat. but mainly they use mangio because everyone is lazy and ceebs with proper grammar.

the one that always makes me laugh is the verb "to do or make" which is fare.
in the "i" form it conjugates to faccio. thats right, now try saying it.

It's OK. Who wants holidays when there are screaming kids around anyway? Besides which, I'm my own boss, and January is my busiest month outside winter. But then, I haven't had a holiday for 6 years. Hmmm - must do something about that.

I also know how to say get fucked in Italian but wouldn't be able to spell it out. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to use it yet.
