Well

On the night on the 21st of December I had a dream, this is the bad bit I remember:

" I was in some kind of bar and then I went outside and was confronted by some strange people camping in the gutter.
I walked back into the bar and the two men came in, one said your under arrest for beating up those people outside, I said I did not beat them up, but as quick as that they slapped cuffs on me and took me outside, when I was outside I looked at my hands and the cuffs dissapeared then one of them hit me, then the other, I died, they were not police."

On the night on the 22st of December I had a dream, this is the bad bit I remember:

"I was on an open road and somone shouted to run, look out, just then some militay guerillas appeared from the long grass beside the road and started to run at me, I tried to outrun them but I got hurt, I then fell into the gully beside the road and hid in the long grass, They found and shot me."

I was also killed at other times, for things I cannot recall so clearly.
I have died at least 5 times in two nights.

I often get hurt and die in my dreams.

I dont really have a fear of violence against me but there are a few things in the distant past that were pretty close to that.

Yes... but I was hoping it was more a sign of the old me dying.

I have died before in dreams..

But usualy when i do i just realise im dead and then come back to life..

I often get stabbed and cut in dreams too.. I used to worry about what it meant but i have just accpeted it now.. I can have some very violent dreams

My most common nightmare- is of a creeping black nothingness.
I also have these huge bugs. They are invisible. But I can feel they are there.
From time to time- I will catch them in the corner of my eye- and they look like gigantic glass roaches.

They make the sound of crickets.

The blackness- hums like a buzzing fridge

no toads?

Mine is people standing with their back to me.. and i know there is something wrong with their face.

I also have dreams in which i discover have a huge open wound and try to get people around me to help me.. or sometimes is worms or bugs under my skin..

I think i watched too many horror movies as a kid!

Do you ever get the one where - something really fucking horrific starts happening.
things beyond human imagination- but you can't open your eyes in your dreams- and everytime you try to run- it's like you are stuck in superglue and can't move.

I hate that

for me its usually the ground falling away under my feet and somehow i always just manage to move forward.

Or i am being chased by thousands of people..

these are usually pretty dark and murky dreams for me though..

I dream men in grey trench coats.

The kind of look like the "Gentlemen" in Buffy- but in my dream, they are the Ether Eaters.

They eat space and time. They own the glass roaches that make the cricket sounds

i just read 'datkindagals' 'amazing dream' post and it is pretty good, I honestly did not read it then post this up.
Bit of a coincidence.

Christmas time for dreaming?

I don't mean to try and take the attention away from bad dreams, however...

I just arrived back from Bundaberg yesterday because I was there with my family staying with my Nan for Xmas. My mother and I decided to sleep in my Nan's caravan in the backyard because we could stay up late and watch Offspring (Yay!).

Anywho... Due to the weather, the back yard was flooded and let's just say it was like walking through a creek to get to the caravan. The caravan became a bit rocky because of the soft soil on the ground. As we were trying to get to sleep, the slightest movement would make the caravan rock and it was a little scary (I KEPT YELLING AT MY MUM TO STOP TOSSING AND TURNING BECAUSE THE VAN WAS GOING TO FALL OVER) - I'm a little paranoid sometimes!

The next morning, Mother Dearest told me that she had a dream that she went to go to bed and the van was covered in water from the flooding and that she wanted to try and swim over and save me... As she started to, I bursted out of the roof of the van like something out of Priscilla (haha) and made a stunning exit.

Not that the dream was exciting - but it's funny that my mum said that because she's still coming to terms with the whole "her baby being gay" thing.
