Perth needs a new gay pub-WTF?
It seems in Perth theres a few stirrers about.People attacking venue owners for not being gay enough...
Think about it for a moment, Why would a gay pub/nightclub not allow heterosexuals in?Do you really think theirs enough gay people in the community that go out consistently to make a venue pay?ask yourself If the pink dollar is so bountiful why does it take so long for places to be renovate. I would doubt any venue that relies on money from liquor sales pays.I suggest before criticising do the sums for yourself.Then for added measure allow for seasonal change,and inconsistencies in trade like people opening once a week nights that draw people away from their regular , urban sprawl,damages and theft.
Next time you see Bree Maddox , thank her for having a venue we can be safe in that is all we should ask of her.She owes the community nothing we are in debt to her.
