I would be thankful for the opportunity of spending the time here and experiencing what I have thus far.
Think of all the wonderful people I have met and spoken to.
Put the not so good experiences down to learning, put all the pain behind me and see how far I have grown and how I have changed as I have experienced life.

Be glad, satisfied and long for my next adventure once the body expires.
I know I will go on, its just my old overcoat which I shall discard as I move away.

fifteen years??? that's freakin ages. and I'd be glad it's not ten years. I absolutely MUST NOT die in the next ten years, because my kid wont be 18 till then, and if I die before she's an adult, she'll probably end up in the custody of one of my relatives. and that is one of my biggest fears.

of course I can. But I really really don't have ANYONE I'd trust with my kid. I used to think my sister would be the one, but now she's married this guy I don't trust *at all* to be alone with my daughter. Heck, I wouldn't even want her to be raised solely by her dad unless I could somehow guarantee he wont take her to live in a war zone (which I can't, and he probably would).
