that is so non specific. do they mean remove the hood from your head, or your jumper altogether? does that mean customers will have to enter the shop and be cold? or leave their hoodie at the front door? because i'm not gonna do that for anyone... my Adidas ones cost a mint - I'm not leaving them anywhere, especially on no dirty floor.

Wynnum is right over close to the bay near Manly.
Never knew it to be a trouble area at all.

You shouldn't really walk into a shop with a hood on anyway, naturally people will freak.

Is this all the time ? or just when entering buildings ?

There has been a law about taking off your bike helmet when entering buildings for years.

If its just for entering buildings then I am all for it. Catch the cunts when they are doing something wrong like robbing a bank/shop etc.

Shop owners can now ask people with their hoodies up to remove them before entering the shop or refuse them entry.

I'm really not sure it will make much difference..

I like hoodies but never put the hood up, the hood doubles as a neck warmer to keep the wind off your neck.
I wear a black beanie lately if my head is cold, a little boganesque but I never been a big follower of fashion.

i know this got off the hoodie topic but I grew up in Wynnum...

And yes - Wynnum Central train station was the worst on the network for violence related incidents.

There was always a lot of reports of servo hold-ups and break and enters in the main business precinct... which somewhat amused me as the police station was two streets away.
