There's a line from some medium which I've long forgotten which to paraphrase is - there is no such thing as a perfect person but there is many a perfect pair.

We each look at the world from our own way and in our own time. The experiences, good or bad, we have treasured or endured make up much of who we are and what we are about. So it only stands to reason that there are strengths and weaknesses in us all. Areas for development (to use a modern office parlance) and areas of confidence.

The key is to make sure that our demons don't shout down the better angels in our head.
