We all have weird, wonderful and completely bizarre dreams. Sometimes you want to share them, if so this is the place to do it.

I keep dreaming about a white satin underbust Victorian corset sitting in an open chest at the end of my bed. I don't own such a corset and would be unlikely to buy anything like that in white. I also don't have a chest at the end of my bed.

I had a prophetic dream come into fruition after 11 years earlier in 2011. True story.

The most recent and perplexing dream I had that I keep thinking about happened when I was still living in Sydney. In the dream, I was treading water in the ocean and watched this boat sail away. The feelings I had were a mix of angst, relief, regret and hope. Then I looked at my hands and realised I was holding an iPhone in each. I knew that it had to do with communication and friendships built across distance and through networks. The most perplexing question of all was specifically who I was talking to this way. And was I out of my depth or why was I all alone in a vast space in the first place? What would this person bring into my life as a new beginning?

Last night I dreamt that I was at my sisters house and her neighbours were having a party so I popped my head over the 3 foot fence to see how it was going. Then out of nowhere a girl I used to go to school with came up next to me and asked me if I made or bought my hat (one of those big fuzzy winter beanies - like the one in the movie loser) and I got all angry at myself for buying it when I could have made it.
and then I met the 'new' people leasing the downstairs part of the house and saw the old tenants who was someone I met in europe…
eh. it was all weird.

That wasn't a dream faerie, it may have been my over active imagination though!

i had a nice dream that i found a stray pet cat-like animal. it was like a jackalope but a cat with giant long fuzzy insect antenna. i tried to find it's owners but it was really difficult, i couldn't even dial a whole phone number without making a mistake. after i had tried for a long time i realised i had let go of it and let it jump off my lap, and i was panicked for a moment that it had run away again. but it was just sitting near me even though it could run away if it wanted to.

I often (though not nearly as much as I used to) have really horrible, vivid, violent dreams where people are trying to kill me. It's horrible, takes me ages to shake them too.

Oh no pho! Dreaming about work is never a good sign! I used to dream about the alarm on one of my machines and the buzzer that the pneumatic tube chute thing we had sounded like, because I'd always dream that there was more and more work arriving. It was depressing and aggravated my sleep walking because I'd get up and try to turn it off (even though I was at home in bed)

so when you die, ammonite, does the dream end? or do you go to another place as a dead soul?

the worst dreams for me are the ones that most closely resemble real life, in an emotional aspect. apart from that dream i had where people were getting ripped in half and put through torture devices.

it just seems to go black for a few moments and then i wake up suddenly.

i think you are supposed to wake up just before? that does happen sometimes too i think.

my dreams come in clusters. i had a lot of those dying ones a while ago where i would fall asleep, die, wake up, fall back asleep, die, wake up, etc - for several hours for a couple of nights, and then none since. i can't really remember any of them now, i do remember that they were all different but the theme was that i was always responsible for what had happened to me, and i spent the last few moments enraged at myself.

I die in my dreams all the time, in really horrific ways, like being chomped to death by a crocodile, eaten by a shark, trampled by a bull, frozen in an avalanche, crushed in car accidents, being poisoned, knifed, shot at, thrown off cliffs, boats, buildings.... And the are always really memorable. Sometimes I share them but I have to G rate them because I always feel everything in them. Bones snapping, bleeding out etc.

Surprisingly though, I love these dreams.

Your dreams are like action movies. I liked the one with the boat and the shark.

Nope, I wake up. It's like being reborn every night. And I always feel amazing after a dream that I die in. :P

That one was pretty cool!
I had an awesome one last night about this 8 car pile up. We were all trapped in our cars screaming and carrying on and then a massive fuel tanker came barreling around the corner (we were on this alpine region mountain road with lots of twists and turns) and it smashed into all of us and we all exploded in firey goodness. My favorite part was when I could feel all these flames licking at my skin before I woke up. It was intense.

Oooooh that reminds me about this dream I had years ago (1998) when this guy cut out my heart with a big kitchen knife. It was awesome. I drew a comic strip about it. Can you make your dreams into comic strips too, please Tiarne? That would be awesome!
