Default Where are the Affordable Rents????
Hey all!

I keep finding myself in the spiral whereby rents can raise 10% twice a year but wages only go up 2% annually. As costs increase 10 times a rapidly as income, its a quickly losing battle and I'm finding myself rapidly unable to afford more and more units in more and more areas.

So, I was hoping some of you could chime in with your experience regarding Zone 1 suburbs with lower rents.

Thanks for your inputs and suggestions!

Thanks for rephrasing the situation:

Thats precisely why I was asking WHICH AREAS currently have lower rents, so that even if max increases are taken, I can count on a few 6-month periods until it becomes unaffordable again. That will very much determine which options might exist.

Unfortunately I am not Asian as proposed, and purchasing is not on the cards for me.

Thanks in advance for everyone's suburb inputs for lower cost rentals.
