i am evil. my gender and sex are nobody elses business so how very dare you presume to ask? i am me. if you need a pronoun you can address me as "your highness", "majesty" or if those really, really, really, really, really, really, really bother you (face it, why would they?) you can use "she", "her", "hers" instead - and curse your name forever fer doing so. =)

she who must be obeyed is the meaning of my eldest daughters name and I take offence at you refering to a trouble maker by that term!

Hi, I'm Kelly.

Have been on this journey for the past 10yrs. Have lost some friends and family along the way due for my need to transition, but consider it their loss and not mine. Hope to meet others, share experiences and have a good laugh along the way

Hi Kelly, whilst I haven't been on here that long, welcome.

I'm relatively new to 'the journey' but like you, have already lost 1 family member and several friends. Unfortunately to me, it shows either a lack of understanding or inability to accept change.

You have a PM too ;-)

Hello Princess_Renee

Besides TV9966 parties theres TBird club which host their monthly meeting at Abode St Kilda. Google TBird Club.
DTs pub at Church Street Richmond is TG friendly.

Also join this group on meetup - http://www.meetup.com/melbournetgirls/
It is free to be a member of meetup. Amy the group moderator has a list of TG friendly events which she post on the site.

Sydney/Melbourne Tgirls, TV9966 also has a group on meetup and this is the link: http://www.meetup.com/Transgender-Au...Meet-Up-Group/

We look forward to meeting you at one of our events

TV9966 Kink Cabaret is a social glitzy events for the TLadies and GLBTIQ community. I believe from my understanding it is the first formal event that the Transgender Community has in conjunction with Midsumma Festival woohoo!! Theres the Transsexual beauty pagant but in my eyes everyone is beautiful and each individual goes through different stages of development.

Hi Natty, welcome to the forum :-)

It's amazing how many similarities many of us have ;-)

I'd probably suggest starting a new thread unless no one objects?

Have fun,

I was a little worried about how well I looked, as I'm still relatively new to presenting my other side to the outside world ;-)

I guess I'm acting like a woman too in that I 'think' I'm too fat and don't look presentable. However when I add some makeup, well you can't really tell I'm anything but female; apart from my voice which is gradually changing

I've noticed really, it's like the old me is rapidly falling away and I'm becoming more and more feminine in everything I do, act and say. Like today for example, I'm sitting on the bus playing with my hair, legs together without even realizing. I've never done that before.; it's just the little things which I seem to suddenly be taking on.

Anyway, thanks again Nat ;-) xo

ooh, that's not all bad really

Example, I have a very male, somewhat alternative barrista mate who paints his nails regularly. Every week or two in fact. Sometimes he'll go and have them done too. No boring shades either.

I do mine on occassion, though usually for special. I tend to fidget and worry over the last couple of months and have gone back to chewing. I hate it, really do; but need an outlet and I don't want to start puffing away or ingest substances as an escape.

Of note, I do keep two bottles now and yes, 2 coats will make the polish quite hard. It's best to soak a cotton remover with just enough remover so it's wet. Sit it on each nail for say, up to half a minute. That softens the polish so when you later come back and rub, it's far easier to remove.

I personally wouldn't worry unless you are in a face to face role or senior management. I know some who've used excuses such as my daughter did it, I lost a bet; my wife did it... and so on. Though I can't talk as much, mine are plain at the moment. My toenails however, well they've been painted for years and I wear open toe. In fact so long that my toes look wrong not painted!

Is your work place very conservative, blokey or regimented? It's not nice when you can't express yourself in some way or the other. Definitely limits creativity, equality and diversity.

Default am i half human or half alien ?
questions questions questions, so who am i ? the search for meaning and why we are here ?
where did i really come from ? on an alien perspective humans have been trying to find meaning for centries
and through out time, many philospers , like socrates, talked about it . plato, Aristotle wrote books on it. life is an illusion no none knows, in reality the first step is stop being someone else that you are not, start being youreself , that way you can show your unique talents and abilitys and meaning in who you are. this is the gateway to reach to your inner potential in that you grow , like a sunflower in blossom and reach to the endless galaxies and space . to move mountains and endure life to new meaning, hope and enlightment, so don't deny in who you are , and do not be in denial you have no talent or abilitys, every human on this planet are unique and special , it is not a search , it is what's within that counts ant to be able to acknowledge you have talent and abilitys so you can grow and to enrich your lives good luck and take care but remember be honest in your judgement

ah I think I know those colours Natty ;-)

I did corporate last year for the state government. It was actually a pretty good environment and I got on really well with all the girls. Whilst I did have my fingers done, I did mix and match my attire and my hair ;-)

When I was still hiding my crossdressing I was working on a farm as a farmhand and mechanic I had long fingernails and toenails and I use to paint them every 2 days but I would put 1dark shade on as a base coat and a lighter shade for a top coat to make different colors (something that I learnt when I was woking as a spray painter panel beater) then I would put 2 glitter coats on top to make them sparkle and make my nails stronger. Some morons use to pick on me but I didnt care I was better at my job than they were.

I hardly ever paint my nails anymore now that I express my feminine side with what I wear and how I act.

For some reason I started painting mine years ago, mainly black first; then silver, then gold; fluro yellow...
Lastnight, ah stuff it, I went a ruby red pink colour, called Flirt; well boy did they shine in the sun light. Wore open toes today and more than a few noticed. It was nice for my fellow gals to offer a smile... it's the boys I don't like :-/

Aww that's a shame Nat, otw you could've done it :-) Try not worry what others think too much. You're living your own life not theirs. To be honest I've have some funny looks and smart arse statements in the past, mainly from men, whether I'm a boy or a girl. At some point I'll answer, no I'm a woman actually, a little older than a girl ;-)

Anyway, believe it or not so I saw 2 others girls with the same colour during the day so guess I'm on a winner; and I got over not being able to step out in colour! The world is grey enough :-)

I guess I should re-introduce myself, as some of the information in my last intro doesn't apply now.
I'm Mega, I identify as gender-queer, and I usually prefer 'they' as a pronoun.

Hi Mega (Sonja) ;-)
Welcome back.
I guess I could've been seen as gender-queer prior to 2012; now I have difficulty passing in my natal gender :-)
I also used to go by 'they' and still have my original Facebook without ever having had to select sex. However now I'm becoming more particular; she, hers and such :-)

Hey. I'm Trina, some people call me T.
I have been lurking in this forum for so long waiting for people to actually use it!

I'm coming out right now as genderqueer and bisexual. I've had it suggested that pansexual is the more correct term but it doesn't feel right yet.

I am okay with: he, she, zie, they.

I'm Crit.
I'm gender queer and enjoy the company of women predominantly. I'm still exploring my own feelings towards my gender and what they mean for me.

Welcome to SS June, hope you find the place interesting and accommodating mate.
“It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what?”
