Can a bisexual like a female and a male at the same time? Say for instance I had this long time crush on this guy named Justin back in my Tafe years. But he got a girl friend, and initially I felt that Justin might be attracted to me because he was so friendly and nice to me and always sat next to me. Or is this guy just being 'friendly' to me. How can you tell if a bisexual loves you? Are they more easily to express their love than compare to those shy people? In my other thread when I asked if a male compliment another male that he looks 'hot', a lot of you responded that you can get bashed for that if you say that to a straight man. So will this also apply to a bisexual man?

Yes. But that does not mean they will cheat on you or leave you for a member of the opposite sex. Bisexual people can be polyamorous (able to be emotionally and sexually attracted to more than one other person at the same time. Polyamorous relationships are conducted with the consent of all parties.), bisexual people can be sexually unfaithful - with EITHER sex. Just because a person is bisexual does not mean they will leave you for a member of the opposite sex. A bisexual man may cheat on a man with another man. He may cheat on a woman with another woman. And he may cheat on a man with a woman, or a woman with a man. They may also be totally monogamous and happy to be with only one person at any time - regardless of gender. Just because a person is bisexual does not mean they automatically require sexual satisfaction from BOTH sexes, but rather that they CAN get sexual satisfaction from EITHER sex.

In exactly the same way you would know if a gay man was in love with you, or if a straight woman was in love with you. Bisexuals do not have their own secret bi language. They flirt, they get shy, they get tongue tied around people they like, and if they love you, and feel like you might feel the same, they will even say "I love you."

Bisexuals get shy too. Some are outgoing and will be straightforward and tell you if they like you straight out, just like some gay men will do. Similarly, some will be shy, quiet, and bashful. Again, bisexuals are just like you. Except instead of you only being able to feel sexually attracted to men, they can feel sexually attracted to men and women - it has no effect on their personality. They come in all shapes, sizes, personalities and temperaments.

Will a bisexual bash you? Not unless he has internalised homophobia - just as a gay man might be aggressively anti-gay if he's not out and scared of others reactions, some bi people are intensely scared of their 'gay' side and will act the same. The vast majority will not. Will a bisexual get bashed for calling a straight man hot? Depends on the straight man, and their attitudes towards same-sex couplings.
