Out & About is a social group run by Healthy Communities for the LGBT community who want to get away from the scene and be involved in something different. Out & About events include picnics, movie afternoons, visits to the beach etc.

The next “Out and About” social outing will be at New Farm Park along the river.

Date: 18th March ( Sunday).
Time: 12:00, lunch time.
Where: New Farm Park. (just down from the Ferry Terminal)
Cost: nothing.
Event: Picnic and BBQ (You need to bring your own meat for the BBQ). BBQ is only optional.

Healthy Communities will be providing light refreshments, cold water and nibbly food for about 20 people. You are more than welcome to bring something to share among others.

Heys at this stage its at the ferry end of the park, but could of course change depending on how busy the BBQs are.

Sounds marvelous! If only there weren't an alternative fashion fayre on i would totes be there.
