I'll start.

My 22 year old brother saying he is in love with a girl after a week of knowing her. YES, I know this can happen, but you don't know my brother. ADOI!

(Derailing the thread in the first post - happy easter everybody )

Saying "Hi, how are you?" to your friend whose funeral it is for her dad.

I am such a fucking twat. I'm pretty sure we learnt to 'think before you speak' at 4 years of age.

Picking up my car.. then reversing straight into a tree
Haven't we learned over the past two days that if we all pull together we can become greater than the sum of our parts. That if we are of one mind and one intent, there are no boundaries to what we can achieve

I've done exactly that! It was to my cousin at my uncle's funeral.

I realise I could have communicated what issues I was having problems with better. Second time this year I have lost a dear friends by not thinking things out properly. Being sooooookiiiieeee laaaalaaaa never works.

Submitting my assignment in the wrong assignment drop box for a similar unit. =[ Siiigh. Luckily the university was very understanding and didn't subtract 10% for being a day late.

Think, think again, then act. I should really learn to follow this notion. Or, perhaps just submit my assignment in earlier. -facepalms-
Sometimes words are not sufficient to delineate an experience, whether it is physical or metaphysical. Love is such an experience, but just because it cannot be so absolutely defined, does not negate its presence. Instead, the very nature of encountering such a depth of feeling is tribute to love as a phenomenon that is so intricate that given all the complexities of the English language it is still inadequate.

Taking the day off sick, on my way to the Dr's I bust a tyre, completely, given I've got a gorgeous little car, there is no spare, not even an emergency tyre. Had to be towed, needed two new tyres because you can't get what I already had on there, given they're an unusual type of low profile, 16inch tyre, they had to get them in, and they cost a pretty penny! Me sick, want sleep -.-

Friend at work: How do you spell swap?
Me: How do you think you spell it?
Her: s w o p e
Me: Yep *laugh*
Her: That's not how you spell it, is it?
Me: No.
Her: Don't laugh at me, I suck at grammar.
Me: *FACEPALM*

Woke up from a dream this morning, and immediately faced palmed. Then face palmed again because I couldn't quite remember the dream. D:

And trying to fall back asleep didn't help this time!

The reason I love shopping....

Me: "Should I go for this red red or this orangey red?"
Friend: "Red red."
Me: "Wont that be a bit bright?"
Friend: "Not as bright as orangey red."
Me: "If you say so."

Yes, I look like a fire truck.. White and red... -facepalms-

I say "up in Darwin"
Her "Oh ok, so what was that, overseas or something?"
Stifling laughter i repeat myself adding "You know.. the Northern Territory"

Accidentally punching myself not once, but twice, when trying to get knots out of my hair. Sigh.

Mum: "How's everything going? Is you know what causing any problems?"
Me: "Uh? No, I don't think so. Everything's fine."
Mum: "You know, I still think it's a phase"

-Revelation-

Me: "Oh. Well, it's fine if you think that."
Mum: "I mean, you're probably going to try it and go 'ew' and never go back to it again."

So I facepalmed and walked a bit faster. She was laughing behind me. :[

I was foiled by a vegetable... Badly....

Mousey 0 + stitches.
Vegetables 1 + bragging rights.

-.-'

What makes me facepalm even more is that I can't facepalm with my facepalming hand because of this.

BAD PUMPKIN.

I still feel better knowing he didn't cut it into tiny little cubes like I did....

I cut that pumpkin even after I got my gaping wound fixed.

Making me the victor....
